I was cleaning up the studio/office today and came upon this blast from the past. This is a friend of mine on the beach in, I think, 1984. I was doing a lot of colored pencil work then. I had discovered an Illustrator named Bill Nelson whose work I was trying to emulate.

You couldn't have done a better job with light and color! Makes me happy to look at it.
You certainly have a way with coloured pencils!! This is terrific. Made me smile too. :o)
