Sometimes it's about why I'm not painting...

You guys know I have been absent for a little while. OK, a long while. I have been very busy at work, but also trying to cross those home improvement projects of my list. Over the holidays one of the goals my wife and I had was to replace the kitchen floor with ceramic tile. I had never done this before so it was a little scary, but fun at the same time. Don't worry Wally, I will spare you all the video this time. :-)

Just incredible, Chuck! I am so impressed by all the things you can do. Wow, wow, wow. Now, we get to see Chuckish artwork, right?

Yes, you do Laura. I'm trying to get my life back on track so I can devote some serious time to creating artwork. There are just some things I have to take of first. But it's coming SOON! I promise.

Wait a minute ... so you're doing kitchens now, is that it? Now that you've got the hang of this, want another job? (sigh -- dishwasher leak -- you can imagine)
Nah, I think I'd much rather see your ARTWORK! I'm glad you're back!

Is that the same t-shirt as last time?

Nice job, Mr. DIY. You must be the poster child for Home Depot.

So what's playing in the earphones?
"Breathe in, breathe out" or "Wax on, wax off"?

You guys crack me up.

Julie, it's similar to the last t-shirt. I actually have a collection of 45 t-shirts that are exactly the same. That way I never have to think about what I am going to where when I embark on a home improvement project.

And Doc, I actually was listening to Pat Morita's Greatest Hits while doing the grout. :-)

And now we see a living example of the close relationship bewteen 'artist' and 'artisan'... Bravo, as ever, my brother!

But I want to be an artist who hires artisans!

Thanks Bri.

Chuck... congrats on the new floor. We paid for our tile floor because we can't do ANY handy-man/person stuff. LOL Good for you! Looks great!

and afterwards (when there's time!) you'll do a drawing of the beautiful new kitchen?

Chuck Rose said...

You bet I will!

Yay Chuckie's back! You did great work there - I actually wish there was a video (is there?) because I need to do work on my bathroom. You could call it art - it's a mosaic after all.
