Doodling is hereditary

You've seen my post on my office doodles before. If not, click here. Well, I was delighted to see that my thirteen-year-old son has the doodle gene as well. He finished his French final a little early and created these while he was waiting for class to end. I couldn't be more proud. And I think he was beaming when his brother and sister asked if I had done them.

Go getem' tiger...

BTW, he tells me the one in the bottom left is me in the morning. Ain't I beautiful. :-)

Wow, I really see myself at 13 in these. He's right on schedule.

Ha. That's what I was thinking. Now, he can grow up to be a starving artist like his Dad. :-)

Chuck, you're awfully cute in that sketch---in a dissipated, I mean divine, kind of way. Hey, you and your son are quite a talented pair! Look out world!

Yea, he really has me feeling like I better be showerd and cleaned up before I come down in the morning! Look at the basgs under my eyes!

BTW, he was thrilled to see his work on my blog. Hi Mom won't let him have his own. She afraid of the internet boogey-man, which is a valid concern I suppose. He is only 13.

Your son's drawings are GREAT! I would have never guessed he was only 13.
How "new millenium"! instead of "when can Jr. date or stay home by himself" or whatever we have to worry about the poor kids having a blog! I don't blame your wife... there are too many kooks out there!
Anyway, he is very talented, just like Daddy-O.

Chuck, you're such a cool dad. Never loose that. He clearly looks up to you and wants to be just like his old man. I think that's wonderful.

I hope his love and passion continues to grow over time. It would be ashamed to loose him to MTV, friends, reality TV and the Internet.

Kudos to your family!

Yo Harry. TV is THE WORST! I was just flipping channels with them. There is almost nothing on that I feel we can watch as a family anymore. And anything we can we all find boring! What's going on?!

Well, your likeness certainly evokes a mood, which is something people go on and on about being important. Just call it an environmental portrait. :)
